We gather to remember who we are.

Thoughtfully curated retreats and gatherings, built on a simple belief: that the deepest remembering happens in good company, somewhere beautiful, and far enough from the everyday that you can finally hear yourself again.

Why travel, community & healing

On your own, an insight fades by the time you're back at your desk. Travel takes you out of the life that built the pattern. The land settles your body enough to receive something. And community gives it somewhere to land. Apart, each one is lovely. Together, they go deep, and they last.

We leave the everyday

Stepping out of your normal life loosens the patterns that hold it in place, and makes room for something new to arrive.

We let the land hold us

Beautiful, specific places do their own quiet work. The land you travel to becomes part of the medicine, never just the backdrop.

We heal together

So much of this is meant to be done in company. Belonging is part of how the nervous system settles and the self returns.

Who Luma is for.

Luma is for the spiritually curious and the deeply feeling. For the ones who have done the work, the therapy, the books, the inner excavation, and still find themselves longing for a place to belong. The founder

Hi, I'm Fabi.

I grew up in South Africa, raised inside Ubuntu, a way of being together that the rest of the world seems to have forgotten. Then I moved across the world at twenty-five, on my own, and slowly learned the other way of living, the kind that praises you for figuring everything out by yourself, until you look up one day and feel how alone that has made you. We call it independence. I've come to feel how much it actually costs us.

Luma is the thing I wish I'd had in those years. A way to gather, far from the everyday, on land that does its own quiet work on you, beside people who remind you that you were never meant to do this alone.
